Default 1965 Corvette Coupe 4sp 327/350HP

I’m posting this one more out of curiosity and to get some feedback...

For years I’ve been keeping an eye out for a 1964-67 Corvette coupe survivor for my mid life (ok, maybe 2/3) crisis. Given the skyrocketing values of split window coupes, I probably won’t end up with a ‘63 SWC. Anyway, this 1965 Corvette coupe is advertised as being freshly restored and is available for $52k. I sure like that tan interior... especially in a green or maroon coupe!

So I’m asking, why can’t I seem to find an unrestored one needing some tooling for under $50k?
