Generally, I'm looking for an affordable 1963-1967 Corvette coupe with a small block and 4-speed in unrestored driver condition.
Ideally, one with good bones that has been weathered enough that you wouldn't quite call it a survivor, but still has a lot of character. Preferably without it's original motor and without docs, etc. so that it's not valued as a top restoration candidate. I just want to tinker with it and enjoy it.
I didn't pursue this unrestored Marlboro Maroon 1967 with non-matching 427 that was available for $50k several years ago... and I've kicked myself for not doing so. Because these cars have appreciated so much in recent years, I'm setting my sights on a nice small block. Although, how could I resist if another big block crosses my path?
