Ended up bidding on this one over the phone, but it got higher than I was willing to pay without inspecting it in person. Probably worth it if the floors and trunk don't need work. I believe it went for just over $9k. 57's seem to be bringing pretty strong money these days.
Was hoping that becaus it was a 6 cyl and a sedan as opposed to a V8 hardtop, that it would go for closer to $6k. It is very similar to my 57 from high school, except mine was a V8 powerglide car. I was going to fix the small rust holes, spot in the paint, and just drive it for awhile, then eventually do a full restification, with an LS with OD trans swap, following Kwhizz's lead on that Nomad project of his.
Other than the 60's SS wheels pretty unmolested, and only has 59k miles on it.
