I had several guys ask if I have to re-torque lugs from time to time, because most guys running CL wheels do have to re-torque. I do not, but only because I had rings made for both sets that I run. The very early CL wheels used beveled lug nuts (I STILL had rings made for those) but all the later wheels use a shank type lug nut. There is no way that the wheel is exactly centered via those shank nuts without a ring.

I'm also a big proponent of hubcentric rings and have made several sets in the past. The weight of the car should be on the axle register and not the studs. It's amazing how large that gap can be between the axle register and some aftermarket wheel manufacturers!
