Car Craft magazine's Dick Scritchfield traveled to Chicago to get the low-down on how Nickey Chevrolet was producing “the wildest Camaro ever by dropping Chevrolet’s biggest engine into the new GM featherweight.” His account of the big-block conversion ran as a story called “427 Camaro” in the Feb. ’67 issue.
