My life long friend bought a 68 camaro in 1977 when he was 15 years old and just sold it last year. So he is a big 68 camaro fan. So for years he has been telling me about this guy he knows that bought a 68 camaro new and still has it to this day parked in his garage for years. I eventually gave up on the story as BS because I never ran into 'his friend' or he never took me to see the car.

So this week, one evening I met my buddy at a restaurant to check out his new 69 roadrunner he just bought. While there, up walked my buddy's 'friend' ...sure enough this now 70 year old man told me how he walked into a Chevy dealer in Morrisville Pa and bought a 1968 camaro brand new and he still has it in his garage. The guy was very non chalant about his car and only when I started asking more questions did he divulge that it is an original burgundy w white nose stripe deluxe interior RS SS 396 4 speed !!! Oh almost forgot...now has 15,000 miles ..

I'm going to stop by his business this week and hopefully get to see this ' wild goose'
