Don't know.... But it sure is a cool car. I *think* that the buyer has a slot and has a significant market upcharge.
With GM only making 69 of them, I am sure that there will be several resold. Especially if they do require a license.
I guess technically you would be the second owner?

Today, Chevrolet has contracted an outside company to fairly determine which racing customers will receive a COPO Camaro. Selected customers will receive a letter with information on how to purchase and take delivery of their race car.
