winning a "top dog" race ay Detroit Dragway in 62 in a 61 Starliner
winning the A/Stock class at the NHRA summernationals in 1961 at Indy
got disqualified for valve shims being .030 too thick
he said he ran a/stock because he had metal front clip,the other guys had fiberglass.
