Default Re: 1969 Yenko SC Nova Info

All known '69 Yenko Novas started out as SS 396 cars. The car that was photographed with a non-SS hood, after more research, has had a SS hood installed. Yenko removed the SS emblem from the grille and tail panel, added a Yenko emblem and a 427 emblem to the rear, added stripes on the sides and hood, on some ? put a Yenko emblem on each front fender, and either installed a base front marker lamp with a 427 emblem, or replaced the 396 assembly with a 427 assembly. And of course, what ever engine mods the customer/dealer wanted. This ranged from a Yenko Tuned L-78 (one with 3 carbs) to a L-72 427(which most received).
