the hemi story that ended bad reminds me of a friends uncle, who died a tragic death. He had the same need for top end speed with a 68 hemi and in one case he went too far, and planted the car into fresh concrete up to its belly on a new interstate or road. He went into the local bar, and asked for help (they beleive). He ended up murdered that night never knowing what happened. His family thinks someone in the road crew killed him for messing up the highway, who knows. same result as hitting a truck.
