Default Need Mopar Guys Opinion...

So we got a new exhaust guy at work a couple of weeks ago and he says that he's got a really rare 1965 Dart. Now I thought I knew my muscle cars, although mostly GM. I had no idea what he was talking about, so I asked him to drive it to work. It's a Dart Charger, Hipo 273 and a factory 4-speed!!! Dart Charger 273 emblems on both fenders and on the glove box. Anybody ever seen one of these? He says they only made about 120 of 'em, is this true? Any idea what they are worth? Thanks!!

I knew you could get the hipo 273 and 4 speed in the Barracuda and the Dart, but this is the first I've ever heard of a special model of the Dart! Pretty

Have never heard of that model, but from first hand knowledge, the small block mopars are screamers.

Been aware of them for some time. In Canada we did not get the Dart, but got a Valiant version. same power combo. The US market Darts were limited production. The Charger name was a mid year thing I believe.

A 1966 D-Dart and one of those Dart Chargers are two different things.

What color is the car?

It used to be yellow, now it's light green.

I bet it's one of those Dart Chargers and not a D-Dart, as I think all D-Darts were white and red.
