Default Smog pump alignment

Has anyone had a problem with the smog
Pump not lining up with the alt. , crank,
Pulleys. The smog pump pulley seems to be
1/4” forward of the other pulleys.
It’s a remanufactured pump, and aftermarket
Pulley, brackets, ect. This is on my 69 COPO, Chevelle, original
Drive train. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks , Dave

Default Update

So I took my smog pump bracket off,
And matched up the off set to a new
One I just bought.
There’s approximately 3/16 difference,
The new one aligning the pump,
3/16 towards the block, witch is
The direction it needs to go.
I will mount the pump with the new
Bracket tomorrow, give u all another
Update. Dave

"aftermarket
Pulley, brackets"

Not much from the aftermarket is an exact match. Don't know why they can't get things like this correct.
