Default Oil & Gas Collection - Cars, Pumps, Globes, Signs, Cans

For those of us into cars, there are some who also like collecting Oil & Gas items including gas pumps, old globes, oil cans, and vintage signs. I have been fortunate enough to make many friends across the US and Canada and see some of the nicest collections ever assembled. One of them belonged to a good friend Garnet Eastcott who sadly passed earlier this year.

I attended a celebration of life for Garnet this weekend and many people were in attendance to celebrate. He had a nice collection of vintage cars, but just as impressive was his oil and gas collection amassed over the years. It includes thousands of rare oil cans, hundreds of gasoline globes, vintage signs, and likely one of the best collections of rare twin visible gas pumps to be found anywhere.

Here are a few pictures of Garnet's private museum and a few of his cars. The museum will be staying intact with Don looking after it as always.

Garnet Eastcott (2017) - RIP old buddy! You'll be missed.

As stated above, the museum and the curator of it are staying put. Garnet's surviving spouse and their son are keeping it exactly the way it is.
