Default '64.5 Mustang Convertible K-Code Project, Black on White

Needs everything, but assuming the black on white color combo is original, this is just a killer combo with the 271hp 289.

I do not believe one could get an automatic transmission with a "K" code Mustang in 1964.5, my parents bought the 67th. Mustang made on April 17th. 4 days before it was released on the 21st. Since then, I have watched them my whole life, but I am not an expert by ant means. Bill

Interesting, maybe a later swap on this particular car. It does have a K in the VIN.

The ads states the engine and trans are not original to the car. A serious buyer would want to get a Marti report to know what it was.

No Marti reports for 64-1/2 to 66 years. Only 67 and later. This was an original 4-speed car. Had to be if it was a K-Code!

Cheers
Dave

The console still has the manual trans insert and it still has the 8k Rally Pac. There are lots of watchers on this one. I really hope Super Dave buys it.

17 bidders so it might take off near the end of listing.

Shows as sold for $10,815. Was the auction ended early? I forgot when it was supposed to end.
