Today i looked at a 73 vega panel wagon (no side glass)was real old paint that said doug thorley edition on the quarters??and get this he opened the hood and there was a complete orig lookin L88 stuffed into it ....all i could think of was

Scott, were you looking to buy the vega? If so, I think this will be first for you. The only cars I have seen of yours are low mileage original cars. Did you take any pictures?

mark the car was not forsale that i know as of yet??I work with a guy that turned me onto the car and i just had to see it for myself,i didn,t think u could even stuff a bb in a vega iam going to try to get some pics when the weather warms up as the thing is buired in a garage..

------My buddy in Ft. Liquerdale built a Vega with a crate LS6 big-block back in 1974 or so. He set the engine back about 10 inches. Had a 400 behind it with a very loose converter and 5 series gears and he drove it on the street. The thing would swap ends at the slightest provocation. That little sucker was lethal........Bill S

Sharp looking Clone.. Those guys don't have the slightest clue on Baldwin/Motion cars... btw those are AMC AMX factory side pipes.. They look good on a Vega tho. But thats NOT a Motion built car..
