Default Rapids Chevrolet, Cedar Rapid, Iowa

Anyone have a dealer emblem from this dealer? This is where my 69 L78 Nova was purchased. The dealer is now called Pat McGrath Chevyland.
Merry Christmas to ALL !
Martin

Hi Martin, good to see you're still out there. I do'nt recall seeing any Rapids emblems, but I'll check. My Rapids deuce had no dealer emblem on it. It has a small sticker on the back of the rearview mirror that says, delivered to Rapids chev. Schonye

Nice hearing about Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
I spent the summer of -86 there, looking for high performance parts to bring with us back home to Sweden.
My friend bought a -69 ZL-1 block from a guy called
Red Drawley?, about an hours drive north of Cedar rapids.
I know I wrote down the numbers from that block, but I
haven`t found it lately.

Anders, you should have came to the Quad cities instead of Cedar Rapids. More speed shops, and parts to be found. More Swedes too. Schonye

It´s not to late schonye. We have been taking about visiting the U.S. I guess we`ll have to come to a supercar reunion. That would be great!

Red Dralle is from Waterloo and used to race dirt stock cars with my brother in the late 70's. He is still around and owns a business called Red's Limosine Service in Waterloo, IA. There is a boneyard just west of Cedar Rapids that has lots of older stuff in it, I am sure they would have something on one of those cars. I live about 60 miles west of there, and will try and get a contact no or email for them. I think that would help you.
