----Have bought many from Tom (Restoration Battery) and only once had a problem, which he made right. You would be well served to have a tender on Toms battery when not in use. Don't have any info on Antique Battery......Bill S

I recently tried to get an R59 from Restoration Battery. They were on backorder and no longer accepting new orders. I ended up calling Antique Auto Battery and they were great.

Best,
Dave

The company that makes the vintage batteries for Tom is in dire straights since the owner passed away early in 2017 and the daughter has taken the helm. She's more into partying which is driving the business into the ground and leaving Tom without a supply of batteries.

I ordered one in the spring and ended up cancelling in July. Feel bad for Tom and hope he finds another source.

I have driven directly to Antique Auto Battery in Youngstown, Ohio and purchased an R59. They actually make them right there and will date stamp the top/case for you..

Nice folks... Good battery..
