Default 427-435 intake & carbs

What’s the going rate for an original intake & carbs set-up off a 427-435 Corvette? I have an opportunity to purchase a set for $1300. Original Winters intake & lead sealed carbs

Don't know exactly, but that sounds like a pretty good deal. My Dad would love to have that set-up on his Chevelle, but it seems like they usually go for a bit more money.

----What year is this set? There's a value difference between 67 and 68/69. That's a very good deal for a set of 67s with manifold and still a good deal for a 8/9. Check the dates on the carbs and the numbers as the center carb could be an automatic. As well, you stated 435 so I will assume that you have made sure you are not looking at a 400hp set-up. As well again, check the center carb numbers as it could be an auto carb 435hp as they did make 435 automatics in low numbers......Bill S

Be cautious that the four outer bolt flanges on the manifold aren't cracked is the only thing I would add. If they are fine, I'd say that was a very reasonable price.

----Yup! Still got the vac pots. Looks relatively complete. If you are willing to wait for it this stuff could bring $3000.00, but maybe better to take 2000 to 2400 a little faster......Bill S

Not many people are looking for 68 setups. If it were me I would pass.
