Default 1969 Hurst Olds Q Jet - 7029251

Hi All, helping a good buddy sell his carb. I think its fairly rare. 1969 Hurst Olds QJet #7029251 dated 149th day of 1969. It is complete but in need of restoration. Only missing parts appear to be choke linkage. Asking $500 shipped OBO. If I'm way off in value let me know... I'm not an Olds guy

Thanks,
Dan

Probably not a bad price/deal....the carb is also correct for a '69 442 auto trans car (non-W-30 or W-32) so that opens up your possibilities for buyers.

Good afternoon!
I have the same carb only it is minus the 70, in other words 29251 is the number and the day / year date is similar.. Is mine a Carter for some reason??
Thanks!
T

carter made carbs for rochester...just a sub contractor..nothing special..quite common on non-hi-po carbs for them to do it

29251 is just an early version of the same carb, after a time in point they got the whole number instead of the abreviation

My date is 114 of '69 . . Remember reading somewhere that the first 4 or 5 months
of '69, the carbs were designated w/o the "70".. Does this ring a bell??
