Default Single Master Cyl #5464866 Details...

I'm looking for detailed info on original '64-'65 Single Master Cylinders #5464866 (1" bore) such as design styles and plating used. Have not been able to find much and wonder who is a good source (Verne?). So many reman/restored have the yellow Zinc or Cad plated cap but most originals I've seen appear to be clear zinc (looking on the inside). Any specific cap text, vent and/or bail differences with later versions? Apparently '64-'65 units carry a Julian casting date without a year reference.

These are the bail type cap master cylinders without bleeder screws ('64+).

Thanks, Paul
