Default 2017! What's your "Autolution"?

Looks like 2017 is in the water box lining up to the tree! We all have resolutions for the new year, but what about "autolutions"? Let's be frank. That bathroom isn't getting remodeled next year. The house isn't getting painted. And the only "Jim" you're going to, fatty, is your buddy's to drink some beer and watch the game.

So what about the plans for the car/cars/armada that's your pride and joy? Post up your goals for next year!

I've got just two: Finish the Bee, paint the Mustang, and global domination. Oh, uh, excuse me. [Cough] how did that get in there?

Let's hear what's in store for 2017 in your garage! Maybe it's even a new garage!

Cheers

1) Find a beater car or M1 Abrams tank for the 16 year old to learn to drive in. Anyone got a early to late 2000's Impala or Grand Prix they aren't using?

2) Work on Gramma's car (our family's 75 Firebird with the 455). Redo the front suspension bushings, etc.

3) Locate one of the unfindable C89 maintenance free batteries for Enrico's 1973 SD455.

Five hundred new ponies are being granted to the 68 in the next month or so and should start with machining next week. Likely some day II mods to accompany the new horses and once that's finished, I promised myself I'd get back on my other projects (or maybe just take the covers off them again).

Tine still fly's when your not doing anything?

To get my 70 Z/28 project off the rotisserie, and back on its wheels. Would love to finish it this year, but I will take one step at a time. It has been almost two years since it went up on the rotisserie, it's time to come down!

"Auto-looshun"

Get my Cutlass on and off a rotisserie (only floors and firewall) and put it all back together:-) Spring 2018 head over to the original owners house for a cruise to the ice cream shop:-)

Get the clutch changed on my '68, and continue to clean, clean, clean it until it shines like a diamond in a...well, you know the rest. And drive it, as much as I can. Hoping to take it up to KY and PA this summer for some cruising back in my old stomping grounds in Pittsburgh.

This thread is a great idea...helps to get folks thinking about their cars.

I am planning to do some PM on all the cars...clean and service brakes...check over all the little stuff, plugs, filters, fluids...set valve lash on the L78 cars.

Might swap a set of 14" rally wheels on the Orange Cooler...just for a change of pace...may do the same thing on the black 4spd car...we have a nice set of 15" rallys and some cop car type center caps...might look cool.

And most important...drive them more!

100% spot on there!! Although only one of the three is actually road worthy Another goal this year is use the T/A for a daily ride to and from the shop on nice days

Cheers
