Restoration question
I am restoring a 68 Z-28. I need to know what the correct colors for the following items should be. Rearend housing and tubes, backing plates, rear end cover and leaf springs. Thanks

Re: Restoration question
I believe the rearend is @60% gloss black and the leaf springs are natural.

Re: Restoration question
The past master on the 1st gen Z/28 is Jerry MacNeish. He has excellent books available, one for 67-68, another for 69.
Web site is http://www.z28camaro.com/

Re: Restoration question
There's a rattle can paint, that closely approximates the heat treated leaf springs. I forget the discription, but I got it from Rick's for about 15-20 bucks. one can does 2 sets.
