Very Well Optioned '65 Impala 396/4-sp Convertible
The ad doesn't say anything about originality, other than the car was originally an auto, so who knows how it was originally equipped. In any case, I'm loving the red-on-red bench seat 4-speed look with the multiplex, PW, etc. Really neat car.
That cruise control actuator on the core support is insane! Doesn't seem like a great idea decoupling the actuator from the engine...but I guess that was how it was done on the accessory kit. Link to 1965 Impala 396 Convertible auction |

Are the front fender flags in the right location?

I was thinking the same thing. Look to be too far rearward but I'm not 100% certain. Maybe a little too high as well.

The flags are sitting too high on the front fenders. That red is not a correct 65 factory color either. Also not sure if the Multiplex was available in 65. Its a nice car, but not sure its worth the $49k asking price.

----While we can find a few problems, I think we all could agree that someone spent a bucket full of money getting this Impala to this level. Very nice resto on what appears to be a nice car to start with...….Bill S
