'66 427 Corvette, Black on Red
I'm obviously obsessed with black on red cars...here's a nice 390hp '66 427 Corvette. Looks sinister in this color combination, just love the look.

What a cool coupe, wonder why they would repop the trim tag?

----Just a couple of reasons I can see. Maybe to change the tag to reflect a change to leather. Then again, it might just be an exterior color change,,,, or both. Also could have been a badly damaged tag and an owner who didn't realize the importance of the original tag, although this last one is a stretch. In any event a phone call would probably at least explain why.
----I like the car, tag change or not, but not at his buy-it-now with that problem! It would be closer if the wheels were original KO's. Just started to think about other things like weather the side-pipes are added, maybe the headrests, etc ----Just messaged him and asked the pertinent questions.......Bill S Last edited by olredalert; 04-21-2018 at 02:40 PM. |

----Owner/dealer finally got back to me. Says the owner requested a color change along with repro tag. Said everything else is as shown. Claims original side pipe car as well as original headrests and motor. Didn't address the leather. As stated before, I like the car but not at that price.......Bill S
