Had a friend in high school that inherited his Dad's Buick Special similar to this red Buick in the picture..

We pulled the v6 and installed a beefed up 350 Buick motor and it ran pretty well..

Interesting photo....it looks like it was taken at SIR at Saskatoon Saskatchewan. I remember 'Tuff A Nuff' and 'The Old Trapper' Cuda mixing it up on more than one occasion.

This past weekend I caught up with a couple of old racers from back in that era and was asking about the 'Tuff A Nuff' Cuda. Apparently it is still with the original owner and has been repainted back to the original color. That car has never been registered, hence never driven on the street. The mileage is purportedly less than 1K...

I also speak regularly to the original owner of the Camaro and he says he could hear the 'Tuff A Nuff' Cuda catching him on the top end and would fly by him at the finish line. Interesting stories to say the least.

Fronts were 265/50R15, backs were 295/50R15 vintage BFG's. Now it's wearing G70-15's front & H70-15 vintage white outline Polyglas GT's.
