Default Fred Gibb Show '09

Just a reminder that it's drawing close. And don't forget the Maple City Cruise on Friday, July 31st in nearby Monmouth, IL.

Hope to see a bunch of sYc Members this year.

Gavin was talking about it over the weekend. This year he wants more pool participants. LOL!

I am happy to say that finally after years of wanting to go to this show, Vicki and I will be able to attend. I am sure that this will be a highlight of the summer for us.

And don't forget; this is the kick-off for the TRIPLE ACES award, which culminates at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals!

Step 1; attend the Gibb show, Step 2; attend Super Car Reunion, step 3; The Nickey Chicago Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals!

For details, please see the post in the MCACN Sponsors section and if anyone needs more information, let me know.

We will be there and likely with something a little different and outside the tent. Who knows yet.

Not sure if we are coming up Friday or just Saturday yet as there are still too many irons in the fire.

We've got our hotel reservation and are actually looking forward to the 1200 mile trek. Can't wait to enjoy the show and see all the good car folks.

Rick...you and Annie will always be welcome in our tent, and besides, Vicki and I are "a little different" too!

Thanks Bob. Not sure what we will bring just yet but we will let you know. We appreciate the offer and the pleasure to hang with another "little different" couple.

I am really excited about this show, and to see Helen, Nancy, the Lionbergers, The Clarys, The Cumbys and everyone else.

So who else is making the trek to the Home of Fred Gibb Chevrolet?

We're in. Talked to Howie today. He just got done with the new paint job. He's in. I asked if it was still purple, and he said it's now mauve. Hopefully he can load, and unload with no problems, or roll aways.
Capt Carl said he was settin up in Monmouth around noon.
