Default Hone O Drive Overdrive Unit Fresh Estate Sale Find Possibly NOS NICE!

This Hone-O-Drive overdrive unit just came out of an estate sale. The family had no idea what it was, let alone its history. It looks to be NOS or very lightly used. It did have the original mounting bracket mounted on it which is included and had fluid in it. That said, I don't see any witness marks on the speedo gear, splines, or yoke that indicate this unit has been installed. I opened the unit up just to be on the safe side. The internals are excellent as shown. The unit is in its orginal bare aluminum finish and looks awesome as shown. It shifts into 1:1, neutral, and overdrive as it should. This is a very nice original Hone Overdrive unit.

SOLD

The family told me there was really no rhyme or reason to the way items were stored in the estate. I showed them pictures of original brackets and shifters and they are supposed to reach out to me if they find any more parts. If they do, I will offer them to the buyer of this unit at a reasonable price. If they find them before the unit sells than I will update this ad.

Thanks,

Jason

One day I want to build a simple two speed gear reducer to add to a transmission or rear end with a level to switch L or H.

No time right now but I feel there will be an industrial unit available that would require minimal change to mate up with a Muncie or a 12 bolt. (Like a simple gear Vendors or Hone-O-Drive but low cost.

This unit is sold, so I assume this is not thread stealing?

Ryan
