Thanks everybody. I'll try to make time to get some more pics off my phone and post them. But we're in full court press trying to finish the 67 L78 Elcamino for MCACN, so time is short right now!!

Nuzum-Cross Chevy in Newton NC-- now known as Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet! Smoky Mt. Traders has a red 67 listed now with a Nuzum-Cross nameplate on the rear panel. Wouldn't mind having that plate!

The 15x6 Americans will be getting shod with some old-school white letter tires and put back on the car. The gentleman who I got the car from actually found a pair of matching 15x7's at the Autofair and bought them, so I have those too. Have to decide whether to go with the fatter ones on the rear or stick to the matched set the car wore for 49 years!

Your thoughts?

You already know my thoughts Jeff, I'd not break up that matched set. But cool either way!

That is a great find! Congrats, and have fun with the preservation. So much fun preserving vs. restoring....IMO.

I would definitely run the 15x6s as a matched set. That doesn't mean you can't have a set of tall cheater slicks on the 15x7s tho.....
