Default My first Mopar

Yes after 40 years in the car hobby, I purchased my first non GM car, yep a Mopar. My interests started in the Trans Am cars like the Z28, so I thought an 4spd AAR Cuda would be the best choice. I always knew how unique they were from; fiberglass hood, tri-power, side exhaust, strobe stripe and different tire sizes F & R. I think my friend Frank Badalson rubbed off on me. I haven't even driven it because it's been raining since I took delivery, but tomorrow's weather looks fantastic.

Congrats Steve. Cool ride. That checks a lot of boxes for me too. Love the Mopars - I think they were the most over the top with features, colors, advertising, bullet proof drive trains, and the noisiest/rattiest doors on the market. ENJOY!!

I kind of noticed that when I closed the doors lol. Each brand has their strengths and weaknesses. These cars have the wow factor and red-red puts it over the top for me.

Steve like you I had many GM cars before I got my first Mopar. You will not be disappointed. In my opinion the best engineered drivetrain back in the day. My experience with Mopars has all been big block automatics, and WOW fun to drive and pull so hard. The torqueflights are shifting monsters. So rugged and fun to spin the tires when shifting with no shift kits!
That is a beautiful car and on my bucket list to get before too much longer. Enjoy and what a great car!
