Default LS6 Chevelle value

I owned this car about 17 years ago. Purchased it from Al Young along with the actual 67 Pace car. Current owner has passed away and widow is selling it. She has been firm at 90K and the person that is helping her asked my opinion. I don't think it is a 90K car. Factory black car. Auto, two build sheets. Repainted, new seat covers and carpets, flowmaster mufflers etc. The main negative is Al's mechanic offered to do a hi performance rebuild for him. When Al went to check on the engine it had been decked. Real car, real build sheets, good color but auto and decked block. Paint is supposed to be very nice. Pics give you a good idea. Opinions ?

----Obviously quite a bit incorrect, some expensive and some not, and then that lack of #s. Just between the lack of smog and incorrect exhaust approximately $4,000 uninstalled if a guy doesn't do his own work. Charley, I put this car at around 70ish to get it sold, maybe a bit above. The paper and the color might push it over the 70 figure.......Bill S

I tend to agree with Bill. Might go a bit lower at $65K.

That's a Volo driver,all day long.
If she wasn't firm on that price, she could sell it.

70 sounds fair. Did anybody try to bring out the deck stamp?

I tried it with my DZ 302 but they must have decked it more than the stamping-deep, which I guess is no surprise as most of the DZ stamps I've seen don't look that deeply pressed into the block. I can refer someone to where I got the acid if needed; it's a forensic lab that sells mainly to law enforcement but also to the public and the cost is minimal.

I don't think the widow is up to jumping thru those kind of hoops and I doubt the friend that is helping is up to it either.
