If the seller wants to give me more info on the VIN prefix, engine, and other little details, I am happy to try to figure out standard vs. deluxe ragtop production based on my spreadsheet. I may even have numbers on PW cars!

What was wrong with the VIN?

Found this 427/435 hp 68 Roadster along with a couple of extra parts recently about 20 miles from the shop. Been sitting in this exact location for 17 years and has not been moved or started in that time. The husband passed away just after the restoration was completed 17 years ago and here it sits. Unfortunately, they are just not worth that much money. I need to make sure there is no antifreeze in the engine and that it still turns over. Shame.

I sold one of those 10 - 15 years ago. Not a tri-power, but excellent condition and original paint with the removable hard top. It made me sick what it brought... I think that one with the trips will do a touch better though lol. My father still has a 69 tripower Vette. She's a beaut. Thanks for posting that one.
