restoring a Yamaha 360 enduro
Thanks is advance for any info. I am restoring my fathers 70 yamaha RT1 and would like to find a source for the vin sticker on the frame. Is there anyone on this site that is interested in these old bikes? Thanks, Dustin

Re: restoring a Yamaha 360 enduro
I'm in to Honda bikes from around 1968-1976. I might have a few resources on my PC. I'll check and get back to you.

Re: restoring a Yamaha 360 enduro
A good start would be to become a member here: http://www.vjmc.com/
I've had good luck on some "restoration specific" parts here: http://z1parts.net/products/vintage-motorcycle-parts I'll have to dig deeper into some old links. I know I have at least 1 that is a Japanese site that may have just what you need. Got any old pics o current ones of what you are working on? |

Re: restoring a Yamaha 360 enduro
Our helo mech is into 1970's Kawasaki's and has restored several, I will ask him when I see him in a couple days.

Re: restoring a Yamaha 360 enduro
I need to take some pics before I tear it down but I haven't done it yet. It has a black tank w/yellow stripes and semi gloss silver fenders. It's complete but didn't stay on its two wheels it whole life. My father bought it new in 70 after his h.s. graduation. I have great memories of being scared to death riding on the back of it as a youngster. Thanks Paul for the links and thanks Dave for asking your mech. Dustin
