Very cool that these cars are still hiding among us (in plain site!). Did Van Nuys put partial vin by oil filter - don't know much about the CA LS6s? Not sure I like stamp on the rear axle - experts? He's looking for a bunch of cash (more than $55K) for a car in the condition that it is in. It would take that much and more to finish it right. Altho appears to be pretty rust free, a bunch of panels have been replaced and who knows what standards he uses.

Yes Van Nuys stamped some of their engines on the flange area above the oil filter. I have several examples in my database.

Like was said above, from his..... abrasive ad, it looks to take more than 55k to buy it.

Quote:
I'M UNSURE of what the selling price is, I'M not in need of the money, I just dont really know what i will do with it even once its done, and everyone else wants it. IF you feel you can buy a cheaper one... buy all means, dont tell me about it...go buy it!! THE ONE YOU BUY MAY HAVE HAD RUST REPAIR, REPLACED PANELS AND NEW REPOP PARTS. THIS CAR HAS NONE OF THAT.

I HAVE HAD A COUPLE GUYS EMAIL ME WITH OFFERS AND TALK OF $50 AND $55,000 and IM NOT EXCITED TO SELL AT THAT PRICE, so I will need a stronger offer.

LOOKING FOR JUST CASH but, I WILL TAKE some CASH and A driver CAR, OF LESSER VALUE, maybe A clone ss CHEVELLE, 70 ish CAMARO, 71 ish CUDA 4 speed preferred, maybe a 4x4 chevy classic or blazer or jimmy or stepside or some property in utaH montana mountains area. thats

thanks for reading before insulting me ha

He sure isn't helping his own cause. He would've been better off not typing one syllable.
Another example of a seller getting in the way of the car.

Grammar is not one of his strengths.

I have walked away from cars because of sellers like this. Especially when your an enthusiast I think/feel our intentions are about preserving the history not so much making money on flips.
