If I were a buyer on this I would tell you - Tank sheets do not have the VIN on them, in order to assure that the sheet belongs to the car being sold The NCRS can for a fee verify the paperwork corresponds to the actual car VIN using the Order Number (located just above the color) or the job? number (ripped off this sheet)
The reason I say this is because IN MY EXPERIENCE the written number on the build sheet corresponds with the VIN ~ either the last 3 of the vin or 500 off the last 3 as they ran through the numbers up to 500 before resetting to 001. For example my sheet has 283 written on it... my VIN is 21783. Given this sheet has 489 one would expect the VIN to either end in 489 or 989. Again not saying anything other than do your research.

68 l-89
Interesting info on the number on the tank sticker. I also have a '68 L-89 car, my vin ends in 900 and mine is marked 389.
