Wouldn't 1969 production end at the end of July 1969?

Isn't the 427/390 HP engine is supposed to have a painted cast iron intake manifold and not an aluminum intake manifold?

I read there was an extended production run for the 1969 model year due a labor strike. The aluminum intake is correct for '69.
