Being from Ontario Canada, all those cars in that one yard are far from being rotted out! Up here they are rotted from the door striker down and still being saved!!. Can you actually buy them?

Rotter update:

In March of last year I posted shots of this Cobra #2133, that had a brief stint out about 5 years ago but other then that has been sitting under a blanket since the mid eighties -

Well after almost a year it's back on the road again. The fix was more severe than originally thought -

The last time out it had some work done it by a repair shop on the mainline, who were "Cobra experts"

Brake / clutch fluids were mixed - synthetic & regular which crystallized necessitating the replacement of all hoses and wheel cylinders.

The starter was replaced, a long snout with a short one, which would not properly engage the flywheel after it chewed the crap out of it.

The kinked and bent fuel line was completely replaced.

The wires under the hood were chewed by mice and in going to fix them, it was found at some point in its life the car was rewired under the hood – all with one color blue wires. This was the hardest part having to diagram and rewire from scratch.

Well it’s all done now, took it to a car show last Saturday, the first real time it’s been seen in 25 years!

Everyone loved it!!

My friends in no rush to get it back, wants me to use it for a while to make sure there are no other problems!

That could take some time – it’s a BALL to drive!!

Very cool Glen.

At minimum, you need to keep it the entire 2009 cruise season.
