I call tell you that zone 44 are Chevrolet dealers in the state of Michigan.
The dealer number 201 the name will start with the letter " H ".

Anyone ever consider asking the NCRS to do a free (or reduced cost) check of where the unknown Yenko cars came from (for the Yenko registry)? I was checking the VIN lists, and had the thought, maybe the lists could be updated with the dealer info now through help from the NCRS.

All Canonsburg Yenkos were delivered to Yenko Chevrolet. Yenko Sportscars Inc distributed the cars to their dealer network. NCRS would not have that information.

Drew, that's great information. I did not realize there was any kind of alphabetical order. I did discover that dealer code 198 was Hamilton Chevrolet. I suppose 201 could have been Harry May Chevrolet? I'll keep looking....

Yes, alphabetical and would be by the last name if that was in their name. So with Harry May, it would be sorted by May.

So you find out the zone and the dealer code. Then you have to find out where the dealer is and the name of the dealer. If the dealer is out of business you still have nothing. If they were still in business I would say there not going to have any info from way back when. The dealer my car was bought didn't have any info long gone they said. I just don't see the big deal in this. If I am wrong tell me I am sure someone will hehe.

Hello Scuncio,
Harry May Chevrolet - Cadillac, INC.
Monroe, MI
Zone # 44
Deaker # 312
We still need to keep looking for # 201.

Makes sense, if they are sorted by the last name. The search continues!

Thanks,
