Dear Bob, (AKA BASHTON)lol

Now that things have settled from the show, I want to thank you, your wife and the many hundreds of people that helped you put another GREAT show together. Sorry this note is coming in a month late.
Both myself & a friend of mine from Montana wore out our shoes there, in fact it practically crippled him and he's half my age. Again thanks for the extremely hard work.
Anyway Merry Christmas and hope to see you next year. Dicky

Indeed, my pleasure. We are very proud of what has come together and all of the people that allow us to do what we do.

And let me be the first to say...it will only get better in 2014!

Bob

Given the fact that the Muscle car is credited with being born in 64 ( great debate here)I am sure the 50th anniversary will bring great things to MCACN. I am curious though how the class of 74 will celebrate the Catalytic Converter and 85 MPH speedometer.

Haha!
Hopefully Pontiac will be well-represented, for obvious reasons. I see a string of high-quality GTOs from 64-74...and as many 74 SD T/As as the place will hold.

Indeed, we will be hosting a special gathering of GTO's in recognition of this significant car and anniversary. I have several VERY fine examples lined up already, along with some special guests. Again, this group will be created for quality, not quantity, so if you have a significant example of a 1964-1974 GTO and would like to join us, please get a hold of me asap. It is not too early...planning for the 2014 show is already well underway.

As for '74, although we welcome prime examples of muscle from the 1974 model year, (think G.S. Stage 1, Super Duty etc), we are not planning on a "Class of '74" special display. We are, however...planning on stepping back to the year 1969 to celebrate what is obviously a much better year, Muscle Car wise.

I'm sure the show will be great, Bob. 1969 was certainly a good year for Muscle Cars.

1969, now you have my attention....

Unlimited possibilities.

Food for thought, L78/L89's, how about a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle/El Camino L89 display.........400 to chose from back in the day, I think we could get at least one of each body style to attend.

I would love to chase them down for you Bob.

Ryan

Bob, a 1969 display would be very cool! I feel the 1969 model year was the wildest for American muscle cars. I know most bloggers tend to vote for 1970 being the best year, but with a few exceptions, 1969 was a banner year for over the top Detroit muscle.

Should we start a topic about this?
