Default Malibu M80

I remember seeing one of these, in a very advanced stage of decay. This one looks pretty exceptional.

Not my cup of tea but I can appreciate the rarity.

That's a new one on me. Says 'North Carolina only', so that may be why I've never seen or heard of one before.

A girl I went to high school with had one of these cars. Bought it brand new when we were in the 10th grade. I was never a big fan, but cool to see one after all of these years.

I do not think they were factory rpo's. They were likely done by an upfitter, not factory.

a girl i went to school had a 78ish her parents bought new..

it was silver/pink and burgandy and had leather belts riveted to the hood and decklid...like theearly 1900 cars used to latch/strap the hood down....they started and ended in the panels..just like sat there doing nothing, but rotting in the sun....

great big tan leather belts/straps with huge brass buckles...it was hideous...but being a kid..i could see the belts removed and the car hot rodded....it was a local promotion at one of the St Louis area dealers...cant remember right now
