Default Incredibly Rusty '69 4-speed / 12-bolt Camaro

Sad to see this. Not sure where I'd even begin with this one. How does a header panel rust like that?

This is salt spray damage. This is why i never buy a car from florida, they rust in the most uncommon places you would ever think.

This rough puppy is back up for sale. It stresses me out just looking at this one.

'

Subject VIN 124379N511293
What used to be simple parts cars like this are also getting more valuable now for their identities alone to fraudsters who can quickly transform known bad history cars into what appear to be previously unknown finds complete w/ matching # parts and squeaky clean histories also bogus paperwork and documents...all made to match NCRS delivering dealer reports not supplied w/ the hokey paperwork but fits oh so perfectly for whoever may be trying to do their due diligence using the NCRS service before purchase.
Seems little we can do about it other than keep noting Vins and comments to later find?

I agree, Pete - we all need to be good stewards of the hobby and preempt this kind of stuff whenever possible.
