Default reproduction versus original 309 master cylinders

Is there things to look for when determining an original 309 from a reproduction? Thank you, Joe

There is something there but I'll have to look and see if I can make it out. Should've taken the picture without the bales...Joe

How is the pad with the "US" stamp? I know that even as clean as my original is, I can't make out the US anymore. That's usually the biggest thing being re-stamped/forged I think. I can just barely see it in one of your pics.

You can read "US" but it's not real pronounced...Joe

To me, that's a good sign of probable originality that it's not a nice clear stamp.
