Are the tickets purchased through Eventbrite actual tickets sent through the mail?

We bought our tickets last year through them, and no, they are in the Eventbrite App, if I recall correctly. Sort of like an airline boarding pass now a days.... you get a little funky square thing that pops up on a page on your phone that they scan at the gate and you're in! Or...I think you can print them out too.

Per MCACN website..."Tickets Presented at Gate Must Be Actual Tickets, No Copies or Receipts accepted", so I wanted to be sure. Don't trust apps, I prefer paper tickets, I'm kind of a luddite lol.

Pppfffllppp......MCACN website..... what do they know!?
   I'm pretty sure that we used the App and had it scanned at the gate. I know we didn't have actual tickets. If all else fails, just yell "Hey....is that an incorrect Altelugernator on that 79 Yenko Swinger Chevette?" And while everyone is looking, you sneak right in!  Better yet.... maybe don't do that. But seriously, I don't think they mail you tickets and the App is how you use Eventbrite. Cheers Dave

"Bad idea; we hire off duty Rosemont Officers to assist with security and I am told they have excellent aim"...I've paid my way in the last five trips, I can do another. " 79 Yenko Swinger Chevette"...is there going to be one on hand? I've only heard of these recently.
