TH400 Build date vs. car assembly date
I have a '67 Camaro 04A build date.
I believe the trans to be original but I am unable to locate the partial VIN on it. I have read that it's not uncommon for some '67 TH400 to not be stamped. The paint has worn off the tag but it reads as follows: 427 (Julian date=61st day of year...March 2nd) CC = (Chevrolet/L35 engine) 6? (I'm going to assume it's 67 but the second digit is obscured) 10109= production sequence My question: Is the trans build date of one month before the car's build date normal? Thanks for the help. |
