Sounds great! Looks like it was converted in '82.

If it was a reserve auction the auction house will typically bid it up close to the reserve. Auction houses disclose that. Apparently his reserve was above that at the time but now he is lowering the price trying to find a buyer.

I am usually a fan of the large Cragar wheel but on this car with the combo of smalls up front it looks wrong and after reading the old post about this thing I sure hope if someone considers buying it that they will do their research. Like the board said in 2015 ... sounds like a fish story

If the conversion took place in 1969 then it would be worth the asking price.

I know this an old post (sorry for being so late to the game)... the car is still out there and I'm interested, I mean the components seem to be good (and documentation to go with it, although it's difficult to tell if that was really the receipts used by yenko and Jenkins). I agree that it is odd someone would go to the trouble in 1982 to get the car modified by don and grumpy- timeline seems wonky. I'm curious how the true yenko community sees the value on the car- is it simply an L-78 + can am engine value (70k?) or is there value in the paperwork that was presented?

As a car, it's super cool. But it do t want to pay up on it if it is an "illegitimate" or undocumented or unrecognized (by the peer group here) yenko Nova. I will suspect if it has been for sale for ~3 years all of you have passed on it for a reason?
