Helping a friend buying 69 Z28
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and would like to ask for some help with regards to a 69 Z28 for sale at a dealer here are the pics he was sent just wondering if anyone knows anything about this car or if any of these pics look questionable.
vin #124379N678242 Gold Black stripes. Thanks Jim Also if anyone Knows of a nice 69 Z28 for sale let me know please. |

The badly pitted VIN tag would be a problem for me.
IMHO, entire drivetrain is not original to the car. |

That's one of the nicest, clearest down-by-oil-filter stamps I have ever seen - every number almost the same depth and separation. So I call BS on the engine stamp.

Engine is too early for that car IMO. Hince the restamp of the partial VIN.
I think the rear is too early also. Put together car using parts from other cars. Not a $70K z/28.
