Default '65 Special Paint GTO Convertible, 421/4-speed

Really neat car for $30k. You couldn't come anywhere close to building it for that price.

Wonder what color it was originally?

Paint code 1 is "Standard GM paint, not a Pontiac color".

So that doesn't narrow it down too much.

One observation: the front seat cushions are swapped side for side. The pattern should start narrow at the front and then go wider as you go rearward, when viewed from above (like the bow of a ship, or a flock of geese flying). Correct orientation is shown in the attached (rear seat shown for reference; fronts should match).

Not pickin', just an observation in case anyone needs to know.

Thanks for the feedback, Keith...I missed the seat pattern swap!

This car was relisted for $27,500...kind of surprised it hasn't sold yet.
