Default 1970 Camaro and 1971 Camaro Front Bucket Seats

I just purchased a 1971 Camaro Z/28 that was built with the 792 - Black with Saddle Accents interior and I would like to make an interior change.

I am not a true fan of the original high back bucket seats in a 71 Camaro. I have a set of low back 70 Camaro seats that I am thinking of switching out.

Does anybody have a nice set of used or new seat covers for either a 1971 or 1970 Camaro in the 792 - Black with Saddle Accents trim color?

Thanks SYC

I LIKE the interior as it is ... and owning a 70 Z28, I know that the seat tracks are unique for those seats vs 71-up

beautiful IMHO (love the cloth inserts), just wait a while, you will grow to love it

Agree, would keep the original seats. That's a rare interior and tough to find in that condition. Looks like a well optioned car.

While there are NO RECORDS, youre 1971 (not avail in 1970) Custom Cloth with Black Accents
has to be a very rare interior and I'm thinking very few were mfg/sold.

Ive written LEGENDARY about your situation. They would either buy material from SMS
or another NOS supplier (??)
I need to speak to my LEGENDARY contact on the phone to confirm , but he wrote me about using SMS
material and LEGENDARY labor would cost over $500 to make 1970 covers with (1971) 792 material.

You might do better buying material directly from SMS and finding your own person to make
the 70 covers...............but then you dont have 1970 patterns (or do you???)

My 1971 Z28 has blue custom cloth interior & Joey Gray bought the material from SMS & hand stitched my interior. If you need any assistance I would call him . (336)764-8856 # for Joey Gray
