When exactly is this auction??? Is anybody from this site going?? There is a Canadian COPO Camaro being auctioned with no reserve. I have e-mailed them twice to see if I could get a copy of the GM of Canada paperwork but have got no reply. If someone goes, could you scam me a copy if possible? Why won't they fax me? Why would someone travel thousands of miles to buy a car, when they won't send out paperwork to prove before I would go.

It looks like the Auctions today threw sunday,Pete...prolly the guy incharge of getting interested buyers the info they request,is lacking the motivation of the person needing to sell the car...you should give em a call, and let them know what you think of there service.

Reminds me of the time my buddy and I walked into Holt Auto Sales....when the sales man asked us if he could help us,we said were just looking around.......I thought he was going to throw us out the door, cause we didn't buy the first car we seen when we walked in the door...ehehe

From the pic's
The LS6,looks like a real nice car.
The L88 looks a little rough around the edges though....I wonder what kinda money that will bring.

They really don't say much about the COPO,does that mean theres some things they'd rather not talk about...ehehe

Hi pete,
If you look at the rally green Canadian Copo in the pictures there are a few items of interest. Incorect wheels and tires, many incorect items in engine; wires, elec. ignition, lots of chrome....but there is no reserve and if it is a true copo.????...
scan back a few years under auction results...i think that car has traded before.
I have also emailed them for specific info on 2 cars but no response

I visited with the owner of the 67 Yenko Camaro today at Barret-Jackson and he has paper work on the car, and he is the third owner, the first raced it , the second restored it and he said he bought it in the mid 90's. He said he was a member of the Yenko Supercars club!!He has paper work from the origional sale and of the dealers work when the dealer got it from Yenko Chevrolet. It all seems real, and it is a real nice car, but I am not as good at spotting the imperfections as you "veterans" are. I called the serial number to Ed Cunneen and he said the serial number went with Y725 alright. I will try to get it and have some of you come check it our, but at this auction it may be out of my league.

Charley, it is real. I believe this is the car restored by Gene Schmidt. Currently owned by Gregg Snap of Texas. Gregg put the sidepipes on it. Vince claims it is not supposed to have sidepipes. I tried to buy this car from Gregg about 4 years ago. He wanted $90K and I felt that was too high back then. It would be a great buy at that price today. One funny thing if I remember correct, was that I think the white stripes on the nose were vinyl/decal instead of painted on it?? Is it still that way?

Greg Snapp had talked to me about doing a reto on the car A few years ago. I don't know much about its past history. I do know Gene Schmidt restored the car and a nice fellow that was in a wheelchair was the owner. It appears as a nice car. Greg enjoys the car and races and drives it...BKH
