I needed 9,000 mile valve covers, belts and upper rad hose for a survivor car once. I bought NOS and we put them on another car and then drove it 9,000 miles(actually about 6k) and then we took them off and used them on survivor car. Worked perfect. Noone ever suspected. You might consider that option if all else fails. Good luck in your search ! Sounds like a nice car you are working on !

I think the assembly line and nos have different part numbers
