69 12 bolt paint marks
What is the correct" or is there " inspections paint marks that where original to 69 camaros ?

Correct me if I am wrong Kurt but if there were paint markings it was under the finishing black paint of the diff.

I've seen some on top. But most don't have marks, IMO.

At least 3 12 bolts out of 69 Camaros that I have, have a splash of orange paint visible on the pinion nut and yoke.

Nothing consistent, per evidence above.
If you didn't find the mark, it's just restoration graffiti.
